1. Welcome to Qareeb
Qareeb is a professional network and community platform for Muslims. By creating an account or using Qareeb, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use Qareeb.
2. Who can use Qareeb
You must be at least 16 years old to use Qareeb. You agree to provide accurate information about yourself and to keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
3. Community principles
Qareeb exists to build trusted professional relationships in the Muslim community. You agree to act with adab and honesty, to respect other members, and to follow our Community Principles. We may remove content or accounts that violate these standards.
4. Content you post
You keep ownership of the content you post on Qareeb. By posting, you grant Qareeb a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content solely to operate and improve the service.
You are responsible for the content you post. Do not post content that is unlawful, misleading, harassing, hateful, or that violates the rights of others.
5. Verification and trust signals
Qareeb may show verification badges (identity, employer, community endorsements). These are best-effort trust signals and do not guarantee the accuracy of any claim. You should still exercise your own judgment before working with, hiring, or transacting with anyone you meet through Qareeb.
6. Jobs and opportunities
Employers who post jobs on Qareeb are responsible for their listings and for complying with applicable employment laws. Qareeb is not the employer and does not guarantee any job outcome.
7. Prohibited use
- No scraping, unauthorized access, or abuse of the service.
- No impersonation or misrepresentation.
- No spam, phishing, or unsolicited marketing.
- No illegal activity.
8. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Community Principles.
9. Disclaimers
Qareeb is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific outcome will result from your use of it.
10. Limitation of liability
Placeholder: your legal counsel should draft the applicable limitation of liability clause for your jurisdiction.
